Dionne released her first memoir, The Shadows of Darkness: Then Came the Light, on September 23rd, 2019, which happened to be her late father's birthday.
On June 14th, 2021, Dionne released the sequel, Aunt Summer's Rose which happens to be the birthdate of her late Aunt.
Through her own traumatic and very personal life experiences, Dionne has vowed never to allow those battles to dictate the path her precious life was destined for, in setting out to serve her purpose. At some point in our lives, we all will have a story to share in our attempt to uplift and encourage others.
